The Ossimoro Artist Group

 
The Ossimoro (Oxymoron) Artist Group was founded in 2017 by Loretta Zaganelli and Fulvio Celico. It is an artistic solution to the supposed contradiction between rational and irrational, at the single- and the group-scale. Firstly, Loretta is an instinctive artist able to create also rational artworks, while Fulvio is a hyper-rational scientist able to create instinctive artworks. At the same time, their works can be blended into one thanks to their common inclination for discovering the invisible worlds living in Human beings and Nature.

They were recently permeated with deep emotions during a long adoption process. They live in Italy, where immigration and anti-immigration feelings pervade the everyday life. Their natural inclinations/contradictions, emphasised by their family journey and the overall European scenario, result in complex art projects where human and natural lives are translated in a balanced set of installations, photographs, paintings, sculptures and brief poems.
